Summary
ILVIO lets you delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
- Open the ILVIO app
- Tap your profile icon → Settings
- Scroll to the bottom → Delete Account
- Confirm by typing your email address
- Your account is deactivated immediately and all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days
By email
If you no longer have access to the app, email info@ilvio.eu from the email address on your ILVIO account. Subject line: "Delete my account". We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile (display name, handle, avatar)
- Your wardrobe items and their photos
- Your try-on results and source photos
- Your AI assistant chat history
- Your outfit check / mirror analysis history
- Your saved inspiration content
- Your Pinterest connection (if any)
- Your subscription history within ILVIO (Stripe transaction records are retained per Stripe's policy and our financial reporting obligations)
- Authentication records (email, password hash, OAuth links)
What is retained (and why)
Some data may be retained after account deletion for legitimate purposes:
- Financial records (anonymized)
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics: usage counters that cannot be linked back to you.
- Active subscriptions: if you have an active Stripe subscription, it must be cancelled BEFORE deletion (we'll prompt you in-app). Refunds are at our discretion.
- Legal holds: data may be retained longer if required by court order, ongoing investigation, or to enforce our Terms of Service.
Third-party data
ILVIO uses these processors that may also hold your data. Account deletion in ILVIO does NOT automatically delete data they hold under their own policies:

Timing
- In-app deletion: account deactivated immediately; data permanently deleted within 30 days
- Email request: confirmation reply within 7 business days; deletion initiated within 7 days
- Confirmation: you'll receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete
Restoring a deleted account
Account deletion is permanent. We cannot restore your data after deletion is complete. If you sign up again with the same email, you start fresh with an empty wardrobe and no history.
